Ding ding.
Welsh scrum-half may just have made quite a powerful new enemy in the shape of One Direction star Niall Horan.
Horan was less than impressed at Phillips’ actions during Ireland 26-3 win at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, comparing Phillips to a child throwing his toys out of the pram.
Phillips, for his part, was unbowed.
They should sell tickets to this. Mike Phillips v One Direction and millions of rabid teenagers. It can’t end well.
