Job swap?
Manchester United fans are quickly losing patience with Louis Van Gaal after their side suffered another blow to their title challenge this afternoon. Norwich ran out 2-1 winners at Old Trafford but the patience of United fans is wearing thin after a hugely unimpressive campaign so far.
Failure in Europe has been compounded with some static, slow and boring football as United still look like a side that’s lacking in quality, purpose and direction, despite over £250 million being spent on a dramatic squad overhaul.
It’s common knowledge that ‘The Special One’ has flirted with Man United before and his name has been mentioned quite a lot on Twitter this afternoon. With United 9 points off the top of the league and out of Europe, will a change be made at Old Trafford?
One point from games v West Ham, Bournemouth and Norwich, out of CL. Big day for the Glazers and Ed Woodward…

2-0 Norwich. The odd United fan singing Jose Mourinho's name. Van Gaal digs an ever deeper hole for himself

Manchester Utd play Chelsea on Dec 28. Mourinho's 1st game in charge of Chelsea was against United. Some things seem almost too symmetrical.

Jose Mourinho's name being sung at both Stamford Bridge & Old Trafford. Plenty to talk about on #MOTD tonight with @jjenas8 & @martinkeown5

Mourinho would offer Manchester United an instant solution to LVG problem but would Carlo Ancelotti be a better shout? Tough call.
