Former Republic of Ireland international Ian Harte has today announced his retirement from football following a memorable club career. The Louth man also had a prestigious career in the green jersey after earning 63 caps and scoring 12 goals.
The left-back had a tendency to score some absolute belters throughout his career and here are just a few of them along with some memorable moments from his career.
The Louth Lizarazu was a stalwart of the Irish side under Mick McCarthy and an integral part of Leeds United’s remarkable journey under David O’Leary and his time on the pitch will be remembered fondly.
