Joe Schmidt’s men take on Argentina in the first test of the Argentinean tour in Resistencia this evening for their first outing since the memorable victory in France that ensured the Six Nations title back in March.
With so much sporting action going on elsewhere and the World Cup only a few days away, there’s a danger of losing track of what Paul O’Connell and company are up to in South America, but the Irish Rugby YouTube channel have done their best to command our attention with a lovely Pathé Newsreel style look at the preparations for the game.
Everything from the music, the tone of the newscaster to the ‘Tally-Ho’ sign-off is spot-on and here’s hoping they might do something similar to celebrate an Irish victory once it’s all done and dusted in Resistencia tonight.
