Jonny Wilkinson is probably still feeling the effects after being the victim of a monster hit at the weekend, but this one is arguably even worse.
We don’t know an awful lot about the context of the game in the video below only that it was part of the Student Rugby League, a Rugby League competition involving colleges and universities in the UK.
What we do know is that the lad in the pink jersey, who was on the end of what was a quite monstrous hit, will have been dazed for days afterwards after being beasted by his opposite number with the long hair in green.
It’s hard to see clearly without the benefit of close-up replays but it appears as if the victim’s head connected with his opponent’s shoulder and such was the force of the collision that the guy in the green jersey’s head (and hair) were shunted back at some speed.
Worse than Wilkinson’s? If it’s not, it’s not far off.
