New Zealand were very happy to beat Australia at weekend. Very happy indeed. But for a lot of fans, they were even happier that they could pummel their least favourite Wallaby, Quade Cooper.
The Aussie out-half was born in New Zealand and lived there until he was 13 when his parents moved to Melbourne. Turning his back on the All Blacks was not looked on fondly by the Kiwis and his subsequent beef with living saint Richie McCaw only deepened their dislike for Cooper.
Add in his excellence for the Queensland Reds in the Super 15, ensuring that the Crusaders failed to win the title as a tribute to the victims of the Christchurch earthquake, and he was Public Enemy No1 before the game.
