On a scale of 1-10 where does faking a marriage proposal on live TV rank in the ‘worst idea ever’ stakes?
Until now it has never occurred to us but somewhere near the top of lists of things you should never, ever do is a joke wedding proposal. Doing it on live TV takes it almost to the very top.
Nobody, it seems, told US boxer Adrien Broner. After winning his fight this weekend Broner pranked HBO, and his girlfriend, by pretending to propose to her in his post-bout interview.
It is hard to tell if Arien Nicole Gazaway, his still current girlfriend, was in on it – possibly she was – but either way the entire clip is cringeworthy.
