“I don’t know how I did it, I just caught it and hoped for the best,” he said.

Brett Morris of the St. George Illawarra Dragons pulled off an insane try during his side’s narrow 14-12 win over Cronulla Sharks in the NRL on Saturday.

Morris propelled the Dragons to their third successive victory and grabbed his 100th NRL try in the process.

Sharks captain Wade Graham said afterwards that Morris ranks as, arguably, the best winger in Rugby League at the moment.

“He’s definitely in the conversation,” Graham Brendan Rodgers-ed.

“He’s hard to handle, he’s fast, he gets them on a real roll on and a couple of times there our kicks were probably a metre too deep and he caught them in goal and the next minute he’s up the field.”

Morris himself admitted that he didn’t know how he pulled off such a sensational try.

“I don’t know how I did it, I just caught it and hoped for the best,” he said.

“You practice those things at training but that doesn’t really happen too often.”

Cheers to Mick Daly for bringing this to our attention.
