New Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has a reputation of being one of the toughest managers in the game and he’s definitely a guy you would never cross. But the Dutchman has shown a softer side on United’s pre-season tour of America.
There’s been plenty of debate about how Van Gaal and Wayne Rooney will get on with speculation that the captain’s armband will be given to Robin Van Persie instead of Rooney this season. However, if this footage of the manager and his striker is anything to go by, things seem very rosy in the garden.
Van Gaal was working on corner-kicks with Rooney and the England man clearly did something right as Louis landed an enormous hug on him…
Van Gaal’s love didn’t stop there though as Phil Jones was also on the end of some affection from his new boss…
