Schadenfreude.
The post-match attention following Liverpool’s impressive 3-1 win against Chelsea was all on Jose Mourinho’s odd press conference where he said nothing and everything, but one point has been largely overlooked and that’s the ‘Pool’s performance.
Liverpool were magnificent at Stamford Bridge as Jürgen Klopp has once again managed to beat Jose Mourinho in a battle of tactics and minds.
It seems likely that the German is going to have a few discussions with a lot of Premier League fourth officials though because he has the manic energy of a rabbit on Red Bull when he’s standing on the touchline.
One of Chelsea’s backroom staff, Jose Morais, took umbrage with Klopp’s exuberant celebrations this afternoon and he wasn’t shy about making his “feelings” known to the new ‘Pool manager in this clip below.

Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce was in ear-shot of the incident and Klopp’s reply was measured and classy, especially given the intensity, passion and apparent abuse that was hurled in his direction.
It seems that Pearce may have mistaken the coach for a fan with this tweet below, to be fair I was stumped when I first saw the footage, but it’s an extremely measured reply from the German.
