Sergio Aguero arrived in Dublin along with his new Manchester City team-mates, while a star studded Inter Milan squad included the much-sought after Wesley Sneijder.

The inaugural Dublin Super Cup kicks off in the Aviva Stadium later today, and organisers certainly won’t be disappointed with the quality of names that arrived in the capital ahead of the tournament.

Being so close to the start of their domestic campaigns, the likes of Manchester City and Inter Milan could have been forgiven for sending over shadow squads, but that’s certainly not the case if the presence of talents such as Aguero and Sneijder are anything to go by.

Issues over money and eh, toilets, in regard to the Airtricity League squad have been sorted out and Damien Richardson is determined that the cream of the domestic league in Ireland will put up a better show than against Manchester United this time last year.

Check out the video above to hear the views of Wesley Sneijder and managers Roberto Mancini, Neil Lennon and Damien Richardson ahead of the competition.
