It’s often said that there’s a massive disconnect between sports people and fans, and that’s true to a point, but every now and then they can do something really great.
John Mulhearn, who is a wheelchair user, is a massive fan of college football team the Western Michigan Broncos. His dad Sean Mulhearn was a linebacker for the Broncos back in the day and John goes to every game he possibly can. Because John is such a brilliant supporter, the entire Broncos squad decided to get him involved in training in a very cool way.
With the help of his dad, John was able to score a touchdown and the celebrations at the end shows how much he means to the team, it’s just brilliant…
