Video: Conor McGregor: Being the main event at UFC Dublin is “a dream come true”

To say that Conor is confident ahead of his hometown appearance in July would be something of an understatement.

To say that Conor is confident ahead of his hometown appearance in July would be something of an understatement.

One of the worst kept secrets in the UFC was finally revealed last night after confirmation that Conor McGregor’s bout with Cole Miller will be the main event (or at least the co-main event, but the organisers are fooling nobody) when the UFC comes to Dublin on July 19.

McGregor is currently in LA and was a guest on UFC Tonight last night and when quizzed backstage by Karyn Bryant of MMA H.E.A.T. he spoke of how much it will mean to him to fight in front of his home crowd at the O2 in just over two months’ time.

McGregor also had some fightin’ words for the man who will face him in Dublin, Cole Miller, and took the opportunity to trash-talk pretty much every fighter that could potentially face him in the Octagon in the future.

We look forward to seeing Conor back up that confidence in Dublin a little later this summer.
