“What the f*ck is ‘interim’ doing on my sh*t?”
Conor McGregor has done about a million interviews at this stage, but few have been as revealing as this one.
With just over a month to go before his big showdown with Jose Aldo at UFC 194, ‘The Notorious’ has been speaking with Gareth A. Davies of BT Sport.
The interim (he despises that title) featherweight champion has been predicting that Aldo will once again go AWOL, as well as describing the release that feels when entering the octagon.

The Crumlin native went on to explain, in a fascinating moment, his deep obsession with the sport.
“I feel to be at the pinnacle of any game, you have to be a little bit gone. You’re not all there. You’ve got to be almost insane to your craft. Not a lot of people understand that.
“That’s why I don’t know about anything else. I do not pay attention to anything else. There were games of football on yesterday, there was rugby, there was this and that. “And normal society is like ‘let’s talk about this, let’s engage with this’ and I just can’t do it.”
McGregor also described the intense reaction of some of his fans when they see him in public.

Finally, his hatred of the label of ‘interim’ was relayed to his sponsors Reebook in this passionate moment.

It’s safe to say that December 12 cannot come quick enough.
