“This is the beginning of the McGregor era.”
He’s been pretty quiet by his own standards of late but we’re going to be seeing an awful lot of Conor McGregor in the early part of 2015.
As well as featuring in an RTE documentary series to be broadcast this month, there is also the small matter of his bout with Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night in the TD Garden in Boston on January 18.
Ahead of that fight, the UFC have released a spine-tingling promotional video featuring the man himself, whose natural charisma and confidence should have you pumped for the big event on Sunday week.
If all goes to plan on the night, we could well be looking at McGregor v Aldo in Croke Park this summer.
And who wouldn’t be excited about that?
