Rehab just went up a notch…
McGregor tore the cruciate ligament in his knee in the middle of defeating Max Holloway in what was just his second UFC fight in Boston a few months back, but his attitude has been overwhelmingly positive since and he has consistently maintained that he will be back ahead of schedule, possibly in time for an event in Dublin next May.
We’ve already seen the Dubliner do some work on an anti-gravity treadmill and today, he posted a video of him working the heavy bag for the first time since being laid low by what is commonly regarded as one of the worst injuries in sport.
The video is only 25 seconds long but there’s no lack of intensity on McGregor’s part, there’s plenty of ferocity in the punches and his footwork seems on the money too; there didn’t seem to be any holding back in any case.
Keep up the good work Conor, you’ll be back in no time.
