Those steaks are having the desired effect.
With only hours to go until Conor McGregor steps in to the Octagon at UFC 196, the excitement levels stepped up a notch at the weigh-in in the MGM Grand on Friday.
The Notorious weighed in at 168 lbs, his biggest ever pre-fight weight, and he looked a transformed man from the waif-like fighter that stepped onto the scales before his meeting with Jose Aldo in December.

The situation between McGregor and his opponent, Nate Diaz, didn’t get quite as heated as earlier in the week last night, but while there no slaps this time, there was plenty of shapes thrown all the same.
