Never has swimming in incredibly dirty water looked like so much fun.
As anyone that has ever played any sport on a badly waterlogged pitch in Ireland knows, it is obligatory to throw oneself into a big puddle at some stage, preferably as part of a Klinsmann style celebration that will have you shivering for weeks.
A few German lads from a Sunday League team were denied that privilege at the weekend when officials saw sense and actually called off a game because of the state of the pitch (that would rarely happen over here) but they didn’t let that spoil their fun.
Instead, they decided to go for a bit of a dip in the incredibly dirty and shallow puddles by the side of the pitch and judging by the hysterical laughter that ensued, they had some craic doing so as well.
