Many people said Corofin’s Ciarán McGrath would never play again after he suffered an horrific double fracture of his fibula and tibia in a hurling game in 2012.
There was never any doubt in the corner-back’s mind though, that if Corofin ever made it to an All-Ireland Club Championship final, he would simply have to be there.
On St. Patrick’s Day, Mc Grath’s Corofin will travel to Dublin to face Ulster champions, Slaughtneil in the club football decider.
