Irish internationals Jamie Heaslip, Jerry Flannery and Tomas O’Leary and rugby pundit Frankie Sheahan look ahead to the Six Nations clash with Scotland at Murrayfield this weekend.
Having come up just short in their last RBS Six Nations match with France, Ireland now head to Edinburgh to face Scotland.
A year ago the Scots came to Dublin to record a 23-20 win in the final Croke Park rugby international; more significantly, the defeat denied Ireland another triple crown.
In this year’s championship, Andy Robinson’s side opened with a 34-21 defeat to France in Paris, before a disappointing 24-6 defeat at home to Wales.
While Declan Kidney will take some encouragement from a much improved performance against the French, he knows that a win at Murrayfield is now what’s needed ahead of the remaining fixtures away to Wales and at home to England.
Check out the video above to hear the views of Irish internationals Jamie Heaslip, Jerry Flannery and Tomas O’Leary and rugby pundit Frankie Sheahan ahead of Sunday’s encounter.
