A Bit O’ Red gets hit on the head
Sligo Rovers have made a sluggish start to the League of Ireland season as manager Owen Heary has to get used to his new surroundings while also trying to to bed in a host of fresh faces.
2 points from their first three matches isn’t exactly what the Bit O’Red fans were expecting but there’s more than enough quality in that team to see them start climbing the table quickly.
Derry City held Heary’s men to a one-all draw last night in a game that most Sligo Rovers fans will probably forget.
This girl will definitely remember the match though. It seems that she’s alright after getting hit on the top of the noggin with the matchball.
FYI, if this lady is in fact a Candystripes fan then we apologise. Blasted red and white stripes everywhere.
