This year, like every year, the little genius has been simply outstanding.
In 2014, Lionel Messi surrendered the Ballon d’Or and arguably the title of best player in the world to Cristiano Ronaldo and while some would say his form has dipped ever so slightly, he has still been incredible by most mortals’ standards.
As is always the case, Messi scored a hatful of goals and a large percentage of those were of the highest quality.
Luckily for fans of the Barcelona striker, his top ten have all been wrapped up in a neat little package by YouTube user HeilRJ below.
It’s hard to argue with the number one choice, although we have a special grá for all the efforts commentated on by the incomparable Ray Hudson.
