As such, they’ve been linked with a who’s who of the big names across the European leagues, with names like Pogba, Hummels, Bale and Depay being trotted out on a regular basis.
Earlier this week, Louis van Gaal and the Manchester United players took time out to meet supporters with life-threatening illnesses at the Manchester United Foundation Dream Day.
One of those fans handed Van Gaal a transfer list with his desired list of targets for the summer and fair play to LVG, he took it in his stride.
