Italy has just had its deadline day dildo moment.
Transfer Deadline Day just doesn’t seem to be as exciting as it used to be these days.
The lack of actual transfers doesn’t help, but the (very sensible) decision taken by Sky to stop reporters broadcasting live from outside club training grounds has put an end to the immature fan shenanigans you could once rely upon.
Obviously, the TV stations in Italy had never seen the infamous dildo moment, because a clearly p*ssed off reporter today had to deal with a man shoving a giant inflatable banana in his face while he tried to deliver the latest news from outside Stamford Bridge.
Not surprisingly, there was only so much of it he could take.
