This class mini-doc takes a look at the people and players behind just one of many GAA teams in Canada: The Montreal Shamrocks.
In the video, we see some the people behind the club along with how some of the ex-pats got involved in the first place. If you’re a GAA fan over in The Great White North then it’s definitely worth a look.
Here’s what the Montreal Shamrocks had to say on YouTube: “The Montreal Shamrocks GAC is a sports club in Montreal, Canada, associated with the Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland.
“The Montreal Shamrocks GAC was established in 1948 in order to promote Ireland’s two most popular national sports – Gaelic football and Hurling – to the community of Montreal.”
The video is all thanks to Émilie Luneau, Fiona Buhr, Marco Lucci and Béatrice Viens Côté.
To find out more about the Montreal Shamrocks check out their website & Facebook group, and if you fancy buying the Montreal Shamrocks jersey then head over to the O’Neills website.
Massive thanks to Pill Gill for sending this our way on Twitter…
