Cage fighter Joe Fisher’s mam is clearly the protective sort, as she shows in this video clip after her son is acquainted with a choke hold by opponent Caleb Frasher.
Mrs. Fisher managed to scale the 9 feet to get into the ring and check on her son, with Juan Valle of Bluegrass MMA describing the scene.
“After the fight was over Fisher’s mother climbed the cage, to tend to her son who went to sleep during a rear-naked choke,” he said.
“She scaled the entire cage which stands nearly 9′ from the ground, rushed over to her son where she was greeted by Mark Matheny. The police had to escort her out of the cage while the medics took care of Fisher.”
JOE genuinely doesn’t see the big deal in this, though, as we’ve long become accustomed to seeing umbrella-wielding mammies go mental on the GAA pitch.
