Renault Formula One driver Nick Heidfeld felt the heat during the Hungarian Grand Prix yesterday as his car caught fire after leaving the pit.
Heidfeld high-tailed it out of the car soon after his second stop at the Hungaroring circuit.
The emergency team were on the scene right away as Heidfeld exited unscathed, however, a marshall wasn’t so fortunate as he was injured while attempting to put out the flames.
Jenson Button went on to win the Grand Prix, his 200th career success to date.
