Some headlines are just better than others, aren’t they?
The annual match between Team Northumbria and Newcastle University at Newcastle’s Kingston Park got a little bit spicy when a naked streaker ran on to the field to interrupt the game, wearing just a pair of socks with a pipe dangling from his mouth.
We particularly love the over-the-top commentary, with the words, “This is the worst thing to have happened in the history of the clash of the titans,” actually uttered without any irony whatsoever.
For our money, the two lads describing proceeding needed to lighten up and just enjoy a moment of true sporting majesty.
