Ahead of the clash with Ireland this weekend, New Zealand captain Richie McCaw shares his thoughts on the Irish team, winning his 93rd cap and the current All-Black side.

New Zealand captain Richie McCaw said he is “pretty excited’ at the thought of playing in Lansdowne Road this weekend, as he contemplated the prospect of becoming the All Blacks’ most-capped player of all-time on the ground where he made his Test debut back in 2001.

Both McCaw and full-back Mils Muliaina will win their 93rd caps at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday when they take the field against Ireland, both men breaking the previous New Zealand Test appearance record of former captain Sean Fitzpatrick.

Check out the video to hear the thoughts of McCaw and fellow All-Black Liam Messam ahead of Saturday’s eagerly anticipated clash.
