A tear to the eye.
Robbie Keane, Ireland’s record goalscorer and most capped player, plays his last match for his country at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday night against Oman.
eir Sport are covering the game live and just released this video of the 36-year-old striker receiving a warm welcome from the crowd at the Aviva Stadium, as he makes his 146th and final Ireland appearance.
Hopefully Robbie can add at least one more goal to his tally, and either equal or surpass the record of the legendary Gerd Muller for Germany.
What a great player he has been.
