Thankfully for the thousands watching on TV, George didn’t agree to the request.
Ireland got the job done against Italy today but the majority of the clash in the Stadio Olimpico wasn’t what you’d call very entertaining fare.
Thank God there was plenty of fun being had in the RTE studio, with Ronan O’Gara warming to his relatively new role as pundit alongside George Hook.
Sean O’Brien’s injured hamstring got the lads talking about Hook’s knee after his recent surgery and in a Fifty Shades of Grey-esque moment, ROG challenged George to pull down his pants in front of the nation.
To the relief of the nation, George kept his trousers on and it’s a good thing he did too; after events in Donegal this week, nobody needed more of this type of carry-on…
