Rory McIlroy is in the form of his life at the moment. The Northern Irishman has two Major wins, a couple of PGA tour wins and he’s been in contention near the top of the leaderboard on numerous occasions over the course of 2014, he’s on fire.
That trend continued over the weekend at the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, Georgia as he finished in a tie for second place just three shots behind the winner Billy Horschel who pocketed $11,440,000, the lucky fecker.
McIlroy’s form can be put down to a number of factors; one of them is natural talent and another major one is hard work. The hours every golfer puts into practice is phenomenal and we got a bit of an insight into McIlroy’s routine before his final round on Sunday.
The TV cameras caught Rory on the putting green just before he was about to head out on the course and the world number one put on a masterclass holing 55 one-putts in a row. It’s truly amazing consistency…
