Mike Tindall got into fierce trouble for his antics in New Zealand but Sean O’Brien shows how a gentleman should to treat a lady friend in a nightclub.
The stories emerging from the England Rugby World Cup camp continue but we heard precious little about what our brave boys in green got up to.
We heard earlier today that some England players were unhappy that some of Declan Kidney’s men were up to all sorts of stuff and they didn’t get any grief.
That could be because our lads are far more charming or it could be they kept the travelling press pack onside. We will never know.
Still we now have a video from New Zealand, taken the night after we lost to Wales, and it features the breakout star of the tournament for us, Sean O’Brien.
He is being gently harassed by a lady admirer who may have a drink or two on board but eventually Sean has enough and swings her around by the ankles.
This is standard operating procedure in Carlow so Sean was doing nothing wrong and the lady in question seemed to enjoy it so it was all good clean fun and, crucially, it occured after we had any games to play.
But a word of warning; Sean O’Brien is very strong. Do not attempt this move at the weekend. We will not pick up the bill from your doctor if you rupture something important trying this.
