What a goal.
From time to time, we’re lucky enough to be sent in footage of some brilliant scores from club GAA games throughout the country and a real dinger made its way into us a little earlier today.
The goal itself was scored way, way back in October 2013, but we laid eyes upon for the first time today and we thought it well worthy of bringing it to your attention.
It was scored by Ryan Lynch of Errigal Ciaran against Dromore in the Tyrone club championship in a drawn encounter between the sides, with Dromore going on to win the replay.
Although he’s only a young fella – Ryan is now 22 and a student in St. Mary’s in Belfast – he showed remarkable skill and composure to create the opportunity by selling a solo dummy with his left foot before smashing it to the top corner with a drop-kick off his right from 20 yards.
Sheer class.
Hat-tip to Thomas Wylie for sending this one our way
