The goal is really good, but the bit of ‘commentary’ from a fan near the end is almost better.
At 38, Glen Little is winding down his career at non-League Wealdstone. The midfielder, who had spells at Derry City, Reading, Portsmouth and Sheffield United during his career, always had an eye for goal but he probably hasn’t scored many as good as this.
Playing Dulwich Hamlet at the weekend, Little sets off from his own half, dribbles through most of the opposition before chipping the ball over the keeper.
In fairness, the defending isn’t too hot but at the veteran stage of his career it is a classy goal.
However, one member of the crowd isn’t too impressed, laughing very loudly that ‘he’s about 70’ in response to the poor defending.
Harsh, very harsh…
