A 42-fight veteran, here’s what fans at the National Basketball Arena can expect to see from Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley if they head to Cage Contender XVI this weekend.
With the likes of Arni Isaksonn (another John Kavanagh disciple like Gunni Nelson) on the bill, plus the all-Irish bout between lightweights Chris Stringer and Ger Loughran, Cage Contender XVI should be a cracking show on Saturday night.
But the headline bout, between Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley and Patrick ‘Dexter’ Valee, should be a real treat.
A classic battle between a puncher (Daley) and a submission specialist (Valee) it should be a great clash of styles. Daley is vastly more experienced than his French opponent and after a career that has encompassed victories at UFC level, our money is on ‘Semtex’.
