We are not quite sure what’s going on here.
Don’t get us wrong, we know that Tayto is one of the key food groups of the Irish diet, but their new TV ad is a bit baffling.
Okay, we get the message that Mr. Tayto is more than just a crisp. He’s certainly that, but we’re still a little unsure as to what exactly he is purporting to be here.

He prevents two sartorial disasters and that’s all very well, but it’s the unplugging of the young lad’s computer which stumped us.
He’s sending a bit of a saucy message to some girl on what looks like a social media, when Mr. Tayto appears like some sort of moral ninja to prevent our protagonist from going any further.
In fairness to Mr. Tayto, if you’re getting up to what we think this lad might be getting up to, in no way at all, should you be eating crisps. Salt. Ouch.
