He even got a ‘Derek Jeter’ chant going, as Raw was coming from Brooklyn.
While he is now almost certainly better known as an actor, Dwayne Johnson will always be The Rock to us and to millions of WWE fans. He still keeps his hand in with the company but he has tended to keep his appearances these days to the big events. He was last seen in a match in the ring at Wrestlemania 29, losing to John Cena, though he did appear with Hullk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin in a bit at Wrestlemania 30 this year.
So it was somewhat of a surprise that he appeared unannounced on Raw last night. Obviously the fans in Brooklyn went crazy,especially when he broke out a chant to recently retired New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter.

So, what happened. Well, The Rock was attacked by Rusev, so that looks like a plotline we’ll see more of and we saw lots of great stuff from him on the mic, including a sweet Beastie Boys reference.
