VIDEO: There’s a superb short documentary about Conor McGregor online and very few people have seen it

Paul Moore

A brilliant feature about The Notorious from Sports Illustrated.

As the fight with Nate Diaz draws ever closer, the chances are that the world will be seeing the cocky, brash and opinionated Conor McGregor that people seem to love/hate in equal measure.

There’s no doubt that The Notorious will be playing up for the cameras over the next few days, it’s part of the reason why he has rapidly risen through the UFC ranks, but a recent fly-on-the-wall documentary by Sports Illustrated has captured a different side to McGregor.

The filmmakers were given incredible access to his recent life and it’s a must-watch for any fans of featherweight champion.

Take a look as Dana White chats about the incredible support that The Notorious receives from the Irish public and John Kavanagh’s admission that McGregor’s dedication sometimes means that he has to be forcibly kicked out of the gym.

The best moments arrive when he meets some of his adoring fans and beams with pride about the fact that he’s from Ireland

His statement that “I’ll never leave this place. This is my home” is enough to win over any haters. Take a look.
