The Laytown Races were not going well for these two gentlemen, so they took matters into their own hands.
JOE reader Graham Boyle sent us this video from outside the Alverno House pub, where two seasoned gentlemen decided to race each other up the hill.
First one past the flower pot was the winner. Watch all the way through for the inevitable ending – we can only hope there was plenty of drink taken to dull the pain.
