Getting caught on kisscam with someone who’s not willing or legally unable to get involved in the stunt is always an awkward moment, but it hasn’t stopped them from continually using the little trick at sporting venues across America for several years now.
For one guy at an ice hockey game between the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Michigan Wolverines recently, he was staring down the barrel of just such an embarrassing situation when the kisscam caught him sitting next to a woman who was never going to kiss him and it could have ended with the crown taunting and booing him until their throats were sore.
However, it turns out he came prepared for that exact set of circumstances and produced a brilliant sign informing everyone in the crowd that he was in fact sitting next to his sister. You win this round, guy with paper sign.
