We love a bizarre own goal. The more bizarre the better and we can’t quite remember anything like this one.
It happened the other night in the Isthmian League match between Romford and Thurrock. Thurrock’s Kamarl Duncan attempted to hoof the ball forward.
He manages that for a bit, but then the wind catches it and propels it back towards his own goal. The keeper just has to come and collect, but has a right ‘mare and it slips past him and into the net.
As funny as that sounds, it’s even more brilliant to watch…
