We’re not sure they’ll be so happy when they actually have to play Messi, Neymar and company, but this is great.
The magic of the cup is a term that is probably used a little too frequently by commentators across the water in relation to the FA Cup, but it’s certainly appropriate in this case.
Huesca, who currently ply their trade in Segunda Division B in Spain (Spain’s third tier), will play Barcelona for the first time in their history in December, having been drawn against the Catalan giants in the last 32 of the Copa del Rey.
Huesca will take on Barca at home on December 3 and at the Nou Camp on December 17 and although their chances of success will be incredibly slim, the prospect of playing against some of the best players in the world in one of the most iconic stadiums in the world must be an incredibly exciting one for the Huesca players.
They certainly looked excited when hearing the news for the first time anyway…
