We hate to dredge up those painful memories again but all you can do at a time like this is laugh, right?
Some of you may not yet be over what happened at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday and that is completely understandable; being seconds away from a first victory over the best rugby team in the world only to have it snatched away at the death will do that to you.
In the few minutes before Ryan Crotty’s last minute try in the corner, however, Irish fans across the nation dared to dream of victory and the subsequent jubilation that would have followed what would have been one of the greatest results in our history. And then, absolute devastation.
The change in mood at the figurative flick of a switch is summed up rather well in the Toyota ad above and the last line at the end is a nice touch for all of us who are still sick of the sight of the All-Blacks and don’t want to have to even think about them or anything that could be associated with them for a long time to come.
