If the reports are to be believed, everyone’s going to be talking about Paddy Jackson this afternoon, so today seems as good a day as any to roll out probably the most famous moment in his career to date.
For a 21-year old, Jackson has achieved a helluva lot in his career so far. He’s played in a Heineken Cup Final with Ulster, although he hasn’t officially been capped, he’s already made his Ireland debut, while according to some, he made his acting bow in an episode of Father Ted in the late 90s.

Fairly or not, however, Jackson is probably most well known to everyone but keen rugby fans for his top-class lip-syncing of ‘The JCB Song’ while being filmed by Craig Gilroy in Ireland camp during the Autumn internationals.
If you were living under a rock at the time and didn’t know it existed, you can have a look at Jackson’s efforts in the video above and if even if you have seen it, it’s well worth another look; it’s that good.
Should he get the nod for Ireland against Scotland on Sunday there will be some amount of pressure on his shoulders, but judging by this performance, he should be well able to handle the spotlight.
