A fine tribute to the finest stadium in Ireland and one of the finest in Europe.
Croke Park looked as majestic as it usually does for the epic All-Ireland hurling final between Kilkenny and Tipperary on Sunday, but as those who have visited GAA HQ on days where there are no matches on, it’s equally as beautiful when there’s barely a sinner around.
We’re so used to it these days that we almost take it for granted, but this lovely tribute to the Drumcondra venue by Brendan O’Rourke reminds us all once again just why it is one of the finest sporting grounds on the continent and that we’re very lucky to have it.
