Canadian ice hockey… it’s like the polite and friendly version of Fight Club, but on ice.

During a recent hockey match-up in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH), which is a low-level professional league based in the Canadian province of Quebec, two of the players ended up getting into a pretty brutal-looking fight, only to high-five and hug each other afterwards…

We were a tad surprised to see the display of friendship following the full-on fisticuffs, but then we read this entry over on Wikipedia: “Unlike higher-level professional leagues, such as the American Hockey League or the ECHL, the LNAH is not known for its skill level. Its teams employ many enforcers and has a rather infamous reputation for on-ice antics that mostly include fisticuffs.

“The LNAH has the unofficial reputation as the world’s toughest hockey league…”

Well, that explains a lot…

So without further ado, here’s the fight in question.
