Leinster won in an error-strewn match away to the Scarlets in the Heineken Cup yesterday, but Jonathan Sexton provided two moments of class to remind everyone what he is capable of.

It may not have been pretty, but Leinster beat the Scarlets 20-13 yesterday to mean that it looks likely to be a straight shootout between Leinster and Clermont to top their pool.

The match wasn’t a masterclass from the Heineken Cup champions but did feature two moments of class from Sexton, who seems intent on putting forth his claims for a starting place in the forthcoming Lion’s tour.
