Stoke are playing Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium (cold wet night sold separately), but no matter who loses – the biggest casualty of this game is one poor steward who was on the end of a lightning-bolt strike from Stoke forward Ibrahim Affelay.
Petr Cech was grateful to see the shot sail wide of his goal, but woe betide the unsuspecting steward who almost ended up having his head forcibly removed from his shoulders.
