Only now, with a day to go until our opening Euro 2016 clash against Sweden, will pangs of regret be kicking in amongst the many Irish fans who opted not to make the trip to France.
Thousands of followers of the Boys in Green moved mountains to make the trip, however, and they’re already having an absolute ball in the capital.
JOE editor Paddy McKenna is currently in Clichy in Paris soaking up the atmosphere with Irish supporters and he caught a 15-minute glimpse of it on our Facebook page today.
Highlights include fans trying to kick a ball into apartment balconies at the very start and a group of fans forming a scrum in a vain attempt to push a bus around 8:30 into the video below.
